Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 26th September at The Elim Theatre, Westminster Bank, West Malvern. A formal notice will follow in late August/early September - but we wanted to flag something important now, because this year's AGM includes electing new members to The Board, and we'd love that to include you.

Four places, four opportunities

The terms of three current Board members - Martin Russell, Mark Haslam, and myself - come to an end this year, and all three of us are standing again. Together with one seat that's currently vacant, that brings us to our full complement of nine - which means there are four places up for election this year.

Being part of The Board means having a genuine say in how your pub is run and cared for, because it is your pub. You don't need a business background or committee experience to put yourself forward - just an interest in The Brewers and a willingness to give a bit of your time and thinking to help shape its future.

How to stand

Email the committee at committee@brewerscommunitypub.co.uk by 5pm, Sunday 23rd August

Include a short summary (no more than 150 words) covering who you are, why you'd like to join The Board, and what skills or experience you'd bring.

Applications received after 5pm on 23rd August can't be accepted, so please don't leave it to the last minute.

Once nominations close, we'll send voting forms with every candidate's summary out to all shareholders, along with a clear timetable for returning them.
