The long awaited necessary repair work to the exterior of the pub is scheduled to start on Tuesday 7th or Wednesday 8th January (snow permitting).
The initial work will be the sandblasting of the paintwork.
The pub will be closed from Tuesday 7th, as it was unrealistic to open during such works. The pub will re-open as usual at 18:00 on Friday 10th January.
Lee and Kim are taking the opportunity for a well earned holiday.
Temporarily, Mark Haslam and Jo Lewis will be doing Landlord and Catering duties from Saturday 4th January to Sunday 12th January.
